Located at 5960 S State Rd suite d, Ann Arbor, MI 48108, Prism Dental operates as a dentist serving Ann Arbor in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as denture care center, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 amβ5 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Prism Dental at (734) 768-2690; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is prism-dental.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 124 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded dentists in Ann Arbor.

Fantastic experience!! The staff were very welcoming and hospitable and Dr. Kimble is very knowledgeable and wonderful at explaining in as much detail as you need about treatment, conditions or other issues you have. I had the cone beam scan (a type of CT scan) performed and it really opened up the way to discover and understand many issues I've been dealing with. Thanks Prism Dental team!

I honestly can't say enough good things about this office. Dr. Chip gave me the most thorough exam and cleaning I've ever had. Beyond being incredibly meticulous, he has such gentle hands that I'm convinced he could make an alligator purr during a dental procedure. He explains everything clearly, never rushes you, and genuinely wants you to leave with a healthier smile. Sara, the hygienist, was absolutely fantastic. She's friendly, funny, and immediately puts you at ease. After talking with her, I found out she has over 20 years of experienceβand it definitely shows. She's incredibly skilled while making what most people consider an unpleasant appointment surprisingly enjoyable. And then there's Nancy at the front desk. She's the kind of person every office hopes to have. She greets you with a genuine smile, somehow remembers your name the moment you walk in, and makes you feel less like a patient and more like family. She sets the tone for the entire experience before you even make it back to the treatment room. It's rare to find an office where every single person genuinely enjoys what they do, and it shows in every interaction. They combine exceptional clinical care with kin

I came to Prism as a new patient and I had a great experience! The office was very inviting and modern and all of the staff was very friendly and professional. After receiving x-rays, Dr.Chip took the time to show my charts and explain them with his recommendations, which isn't something that my previous dental professionals had done before. I would recommend for anyone that has dental needs.

Highly recommend! I was experiencing a toothache and they got me in within an hour of calling, as a new patient. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The dentist knew exactly the problem was after a quick exam and X-ray. He then had me referred out prior to me leaving the office. If this office was closer to my home, Iβd be switching! Thank you for your quick action and support.

My dad, my son, and I all go to Prism Dental. Dr. Chip is a great dentist, compassionate to those who are just a bit nervous of dentists, but fun and very knowledgeable. His staff is great too. I love visiting them. And since we all have several dental issues, I visit a lot!
